If you are getting married and would like to have your Nikah performed in Masjid Sunnah Nelson, then please read the information below:

Nikah only in the masjid:

If you only require a Nikah performed with no requirements to serve food:

• Nikah performed in English by Masjid’s Imam Abul ‘Abbas Naveed Ayaaz.
• Suggested donation to the Masjid: £100
• There are no limits to the number of guests you invite, but the capacity of the mosque is 500 men and 250 women

Nikah and Food

If you would like to have a Nikah performed and serve food to guests, then the Masjid has two halls available, but you must arrange your own catering:

1. Edenfield Hall for women. 

• Cost of hire: £150 (4 hours)
• Capacity: 100 at one time.
• Tables and chairs provided.
• Free onsite car parking (up to 150 cars)

2. Masjid Community Hall for men

• Cost of hire: £150 (4 hours)
• Capacity: 250 at one time. 
• No tables and chairs provided. Seating on the floor (mats provided).
• Free onsite car parking (up to 150 cars).
  
  

Important Terms and Conditions:

• The Masjid does not provide utensils or the food. This must be arranged by the hirer.  
• No cooking is permitted on the premises.
• Rubbish/waste can be disposed by the Masjid for £100, or removed by hirer after the event.
• No music or free mixing permitted.
• A deposit of £100 must be paid before hire
